Sriracha Noodles with Prawns

This quick and easy meal is a great option for mid-week dinners.  Hearty and full of fragrant Asian flavours.

  • 3 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp Trident Sriracha Sauce (Depending on how spicey you like it)
  • 2 tbsp Shoaxing Wine
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 400 g Prawns
  • 1 Bunch Spring Onions (Sliced on Diagonal)
  • 2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 3cm Ginger (Finely Grated)
  • 1 Red Capsicum (Thinly Sliced)
  • 1 Trident Sriracha Noodles
  • 2-3 Bok Choy (Sliced)
  • 1 Pack Bean Sprouts
  • 1 Lime (Cut into wedges)
  1. Combine the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sriracha and shaoxing wine.
  2. In a wok or large fry pan, heat the oil and briefly fry the prawns to just colour them and then remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Add the sliced spring onion, the garlic and ginger and fry for a minute, until fragrant.
  4. Add capsicum and bok choy, and fry for another minute.
  5. Add the noodles and ¼ cup water and cook until just warmed through, toss together.
  6. Add the combined sauces, prawns, bean sprouts and spring onion greens. Serve immediately with lime wedges.
