Sang choi bau lettuce wraps
Sweet Chilli Sauce
Ingredients required for this recipe:
500g chicken mince
2 tablespoons oil
3 spring onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 teaspoon ginger, chopped
3 tablespoons Hoisin Sauce
2 teaspoons Trident Sweet Chilli Sauce
1-2 teaspoons Fish Sauce
1/3 cup water chestnuts, finely chopped
1/3 cup roasted cashews or peanuts, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons cornflour
Lettuce leaves, cut into cups
Heat oil in the wok and stir-fry chicken, spring onion, garlic and ginger for 3 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup water and all sauces. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in the chopped nuts and water chestnuts.
Mix the cornflour with 2 tablespoons of water and add to the stir-fry. Stir everything together until it thickens.
Serve wrapped in lettuce leaves.
