Salmon marinated in sweet chili sauce, soy sauce & ginger develops a lovely caramelized top while cooking.
Here’s a quick weeknight recipe you will love. Salmon fillets are marinated in Trident Thai Sweet Chilli sauce, soy sauce and ginger — and then lightly grilled until caramelized on top.
- Make the marinade by combining the sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce and ginger in a bowl. Spoon ¼ cup of the marinade over salmon and leave to marinade covered for one hour in the fridge.
- Pre-heat oven to 180ºc fan bake
- Line a shallow oven dish with baking paper and place salmon skin side down on tray, drizzle marinade over top of salmon. Cook the salmon for 12 minutes then increase heat to 220ºc on grill setting, cook for a further 6-8 minutes, or until salmon starts to caramelize.
- Transfer the salmon to a serving platter and brush with remaining marinade top. Garnish with spring onions and serve with steamed jasmine rice and a fresh green salad.
